On certain 2006-2007 Civic models, a rear ABS wheel speed sensor may have been improperly installed and may let water enter the hub assembly, which can damage the wheel bearing and increase crash risk if the wheel separates.[6][9]

Service Brakes, Electric
Certain 2006-2007 Civic Hybrid and CNG models may have a brake light switch failure caused by excess lubricant from the steering column dripping onto the switch, which can disable the brake lights and prevent shifting out of Park.[5]

Air Bags
Some 2006-2011 Civic vehicles were included in Honda air bag inflator recall activity involving passenger frontal inflators that may deploy improperly or rupture, increasing the risk of injury.[1][12]
