You can apply for a Provincetown resident parking permit in two ways: online or in person at Town Hall in the Lower Level.
Application Methods
Online: Submit your application through the official town portal. This is the fastest option since you won't need to wait for office hours.
In Person: Visit the Parking Permit Office at Town Hall, Lower Level:
- Monday: 9am to 4pm
- Wednesday and Friday: 9am to Noon
Bring your vehicle registration, valid driver's license, and payment (cash or check for in-person applications).

Resident permits range from $55 to $150 depending on your needs:

Important Details
Parking permits for the 2026 season become available in April 2026. Paid parking enforcement runs May 1 through October 31, seven days a week including holidays. You'll need to show any outstanding taxes, fees, or parking violations when applying.
Once approved, your permit can be mailed to your address or picked up in person at Town Hall. If you need off-hour pickup, contact the Parking Permit Office to arrange it.
